Greetings, I have a MSW from Boston University and a BS in Child Development and Family Relations from the University of Rhode Island. I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker in Rhode Island. Since obtaining my MSW I have worked in a Family Service agency counseling children and adults, as a care coordinator for high risk pregnant women in a prenatal clinic located in the inner-city of Providence, as a Clinical Social Worker for twenty years on adult inpatient psychiatric units located in a general hospital and for the past fourteen years have been servicing adults eighteen years old and older as a psychotherapist in outpatient practices.

My specialties include the treatment of mood and anxiety disorders, women’s health issues, occupational stress. life transitions, relationship issues and survivors of domestic violence and abuse. I am impassioned by the work I do with my clients. My therapeutic approach is strength-based, to focus on the positive attributes you already have, the journey your life has taken you and how you become resilient.
