I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Master is Social Work earned from Humboldt State University in California. I have experience working with children and adults who are struggling with emotions, related substance use, trauma, homelessness, anxiety, depression, codependency and overcoming life challenges and new beginnings.

I have had trainings in multiple treatment modalities with including, substance use, CBT, DBT and Narrative Therapy where I have developed a unique skill set to provide clients the opportunity to share their experiences, as the expert of their story and help to develop coping skills to manage symptoms and providing support and advocacy in meeting goals and allowing them the opportunity to take control of their lives.

I believe that lived and learned experiences are how we evolve and grow. I have a passion for working with diverse populations by meeting people where they are at without judgement or criticism and providing a space and alliance in helping people not only to see their strengths and face their fears but to embrace them for what they are. Focusing on client driven goals and developing strategies using one’s own strengths and resiliency to encourage focus on moving forward. It’s not about what we have done or have had done to us that defines who we become, it's how we overcome them. Recognizing our own strengths and resiliency builds a foundation for growth.
