Ms. Cindy M. Gordon, LICSW is a graduate of the Boston College Graduate School of Social Work. Ms. Gordon possesses extensive supervisory, administrative, clinical, training and teaching experience. Ms. Gordon enjoys working with multicultural populations with a variety of clinical presentations. Her areas of clinical interest and expertise include; crisis intervention, trauma, addictions and work with forensic populations.
Ms. Gordon’s practice is client centered and utilizes an eclectic therapy approach which includes a variety of therapy modalities including; Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy and Narrative therapy. Ms. Ms. Gordon is currently on faculty at the following graduate schools of social work; Boston College, Simmons, Boston University, Smith College and Bridgewater State University. Courses include: Psychosocial Pathology, Introduction to Clinical Practice with Individuals, Families and Groups, Adult Psychological Trauma, Clinical Practice with Groups, Violence: A Systemic Approach to Assessment and Intervention and Realities of Racism and Oppression.
